To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise, practical experience, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Business Applications, particularly Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).

You will be able to demonstrate the following:



• Prior experience as a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), engaging with stakeholders at all levels within enterprise organizations to drive solution adoption, transformation, and business impact will be a plus.



• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to influence strategic decisions and drive enterprise-wide solution adoption.



**Technical Knowledge**



• Strong Technical expertise on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) (Must Have Skill)



• Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O, including development experience in X++ across at least two modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Project Operations



• Proven ability in debugging and performance troubleshooting, including use of Trace Parser



• Solid understanding of performance patterns and anti-patterns



• Familiarity with AI-enhanced ERP capabilities such as Copilot in Finance, Demand Planning in SCM, and AI-driven forecasting and planning tools (e.g., Inventory to Deliver, Source to Pay, Plan to Produce)



**Architecture & Lifecycle Management**



• Strong grasp of Microsoft Azure cloud computing fundamentals • Knowledge of how Dynamics 365 F&O interacts with Azure components



• Familiarity with integration patterns and anti-patterns across Business Applications • Proficiency in Microsoft Lifecycle Services for environment setup and troubleshooting



• Ability to set up and execute the Regression Suite Automation Tool



• Ability to Architect Cross-Platform Integration of D365 F&O with different systems



• Basic understanding of integration between Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Supply Chain platforms



• Basic level of functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 ERP Family (Must Have) • Fundamental knowledge of Dynamics 365 Commerce and Dynamics 365 Business Central will be a plus



**Experience & Certifications**



• Proven track record in Dynamics AX engineering, architecture, or similar roles • Extensive experience in the technical and functional aspects of Dynamics F&O/AX • Strong proficiency in X++ development, including customization and extension of Dynamics F&O/AX functionalities



• Demonstrated expertise in implementations and the management of ERP software, including integration with third-party systems



• D365 F&O or AX technical and functional certifications



• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and ERP process instructions



• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment



• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and fostering productive collaboration



**Required Skill Set**



• Experience with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain Management • In-depth proficiency in Dynamics AX, encompassing both technical and functional aspects



• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions



• Experience in system integration and interfacing with third-party systems • Understanding of ERP system architecture and best practices



• Experience in delivering technical or functional training and knowledge transfer sessions



• Familiarity with ERP software beyond Microsoft Dynamics F&O/AX (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus



• Experience with ERP implementations in retail, manufacturing, or logistics sectors using Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management



**Technical Skills: Mandatory**



• Proficiency in Dynamics F&O/AX development and customization using X++ • Strong understanding of Dynamics F&O/AX architecture and data model



• Experience in Dynamics F&O/AX migration and modernization projects



• Knowledge of system integration and interfacing techniques



• Understanding of ERP system administration and best practices



• Experience with version control systems and development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub)



• Proficiency in documenting technical designs and system configurations



• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies



• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively



• Understanding of cloud technologies and their implications for ERP systems • F&O/AX setup and configuration experience



**Responsibilities**



• Use customer insights to align Business Applications solutions with business outcomes, accelerating delivery and adoption through value-based engagements and reusable IP



• Deliver technical sessions and workshops to support customer skilling, operational health, and cloud readiness



• Provide strategic advisory services during steering committee meetings and executive reviews



• Share customer feedback with internal Microsoft teams to drive product and service improvements



• Guide decision-makers to realize value from Microsoft technology through solution optimization, performance efficiency, and operational excellence



• Resolve blockers preventing go-live or broad usage by applying technical, functional, and project management expertise using Microsoft best practices and IP



• Identify growth opportunities by matching customer needs with Microsoft Business Applications capabilities and value propositions



• Continuously develop skills to better support customer and Microsoft business goals



• Share expertise in communities, contribute to IP creation, and reuse assets to accelerate customer transformation
